A free basic roof inspection is a helpful way to understand the current condition of your roof, but it does not include a written detailed report.

A premium roof inspection includes everything from the free basic inspection, plus a detailed written report with photos, condition notes, and recommendations. This is a good option for homeowners who want documentation before buying or selling a home, after a storm, or when they want a clearer understanding of the roof’s condition.
The green section of the report shows roof areas that are in good condition and are not a current concern. Not every roof inspection leads to repairs or replacement. If your roof looks good, the report will clearly show that too.

A simple one-story roof is much faster and safer to inspect than a steep, tall, cut-up roof with multiple roof sections, valleys, and details.

If requested, a premium inspection can include an EagleView roof report for roof measurements. If repairs or replacement are recommended, Ed’s Exteriors can also provide a repair estimate, roof replacement estimate, or insurance-style Xactimate estimate when needed.
Homeowners are not required to hire Ed’s Exteriors for the recommended work. You are free to use the report for your own records, complete small repairs yourself, get other estimates, or hire the contractor of your choice.
